Supporting participation at the Australian Stream Management (ASM) Conference and Awards Gala

What are the RBMS Support Grants?

RBMS Support Grants help those who work in catchment management, yet may require financial assistance to attend and present at the ASM Conference and Awards Gala.

The program aims to improve access, inclusion and participation across Australia’s integrated catchment and waterway management sector, and to build stronger networks for sharing knowledge and practice.

Who are the grants for?

You may be eligible if you are:

  • An Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander scientist or land manager, or;

  • A representative of a science or NRM-based community organisation, or;

  • A graduate student engaged in a research project;

and you have led, strongly contributed to, or co-designed/co-authored a project relevant to integrated catchment management.

Applicants must submit an abstract and present at the conference, or submit an award application for the Awards Gala to be eligible.

What does the funding support?

Grants provide full or partial support for:

  • ASM Conference registration

  • Awards Gala ticket

  • Associated costs such as travel and accommodation (grant-dependent)

Funding amounts are capped and depend on grant type and application quality.
