ORAL PRESENTERS
PREPARE YOUR PRESENTATION
Any slides should be made in PowerPoint 16:9 format.
We strongly encourage all presenters to use the allocated time for an audience Q&A.
All oral presentations will be kept strictly to time, so we recommend keeping your presentation to a reasonable number of slides.
To facilitate the necessary transitions between speakers and avoid technical issues, we ask that all presentations are prepared and delivered using Microsoft PowerPoint.
Presentations must be presented to the Boardroom (Speaker Preparation Room; see map) at least one full session prior to the session you are presenting in.
SLIDE TIPS AND TRICKS
Avoid small text; all content should be easily readable from the back of the room
Use a minimum of 24–32pt font for body text and larger for headings
Keep slides simple with one key message per slide
Use visuals (graphs, images, icons) instead of large amounts of text
Ensure strong contrast between text and background
Keep graphs and charts simple and easy to interpret
Clearly highlight key insights
Avoid overly complex or cluttered visuals
